use grease

The easiest way, is to tilt it over slightly when you drain it. But, be very careful doing this, as the unit has caster wheels and you don't want it to get away from you. If you have a helper, so much the better. Remember to always turn the unit OFF & Unplug it, before draining the water from the tank.

More than likely a failed water pump, or blockage that has created a discharge problem. This could cause the circut breaker to trip. So, it is kinda messy, but if you drain the water by hand baling, clean or check the interior bottom d/w discharge intake & screen, reset the breaker, and restart. If the system still does not drain it's probably pump failure. I don't think people actual replace the pump, they just get a new d/w unit. Unless there is warranty coverage.
