Not letting me except game invites on xbox live

Please ask your friend to resend it again or if you know your friend's id send him / her an invitation to accept

Here's my best idea. Join a party on Xbox LIVE with a friend. This will let you communicate outside of Halo 3. If they can't hear you when you're in the party together, then it's your headset.

To have a friend join a party, go to your friends menu and select a friend. It will then give you the option to invite them into your party. Good luck!

I have experienced this several times and although it does not work every time it has improved since the first day.
There will be released several patches for the online bugs.

Meanwhile you can try this to see if it works for you:

1. When you friend sends you invite, click the middle button on your remote which takes you to playstation menu screen.
2. Go to account management and click TRIANGLE
3. Sign off then sign back ON
4. Then go to your inbox or invite menu
5. Find your friend's invite and click join game.

this can be from multiple problems actually, from having the player requesting you as an "avoided" player or simply having the game lobby full and unable to join. if there is an avoided player in the lobby you are trying to join this can often lead to you not being able to join the lobby. Other more advanced problems could be caused by router/modem problems and/or restrictions set in place on them, but that is definitely beyond me. you would have to contact your internet service provider.
One other thing, see if you can invite them to a game with you in it and see if they can accept. Hope this helped,

tell your friend to set his party to anyone and not just friends or invite only. its in a settings tab within his party options

mine does that on gaylo 3 you should try cleaning the disc or invite your friends first or play a different game:P sry if I didnt help

this is a common problem. one of you needs to reset your internet connection... i used to have the same problem. (its not a setting issue)... this should work but if it doesn't, please let me know

check your router's settings on the set-up page and configure your wireless settings to be able to receive private chats or get invited or invite friends to an xbox live game. try to check your firewall because sometimes its blocking your connection
