My Westinghouse lt908s washing machine has started bundling clothes up and knocking sides of machine. Even after opening lid and redistributing load evenly it keeps spinning then bundles up load and knocks about before beeping and switching off spin cycle. It level and plumb so balance is ok. Been told it might be sensors. But its only 5 1/2 years old. Checked with liye load and heavy and still does same. Wash cycle goes fine but when gets to spin cycles starts knocking about Any ideas?

On spray rinse cycle machine trows clothes to one side knocking bowl out of balance

Although redistributing the clothes might be the easy answer, you have have broken suspension strings or a failed shock absorber. The only way to check is to remove the case.

My whirlpool duet washer hammers very loud when it spins. The outside of the machine doesn't seem to vibrate much but it is very loud.

That is a common occurrence with dryers such as this one. Even though it sounds bad, it is harmless. If it really bothers, you can re-balance the load and it should reduce the vibration.

Washing machine shakes violently during spin

Hi

If your washing machine shakes violently or if there's a loud thumping noise during the spin cycle, the load of clothes has probably gotten unbalanced. Open the lid, redistribute the clothes in the washer, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

Cabrio washer with uL code. Will not operate properly after resetting & not even with small load.

if it went thru the mini-cycle to redistribute the lad of clothes and it continues to flash uL then open the lid and manually redistribute the load,if this doesn't correct the problem, then try unplugging the unit for 15 minutes to re-set the ecu control unit and re-plug in and retry it

Noisy when trying to spin. display uL instead of time remaining. Stopped, opened lid and redistributed load. Started up again. cycle continued but still displaying uL. Not sure if load still unbalanced?...

REPLACE YOUR SUSPENSION RODS. You can get them at a discount applicance parts store online for about $60. Our washer is about 8 years old and has been getting unbalanced on every load. I replaced the suspension rods tonight and and it solved the problem.
