When I go to Dell Support, and try to pull up Inspiron 1010, I get Inspiron Mini 10,

Now left-click on the blue -> Realtek-Driver
To the right of Version: click on the blue -
Download File
On the next page make sure there is a Green dot, in the small circle to the left of - Single-file download.
If not left-click in the empty circle to the left of - Single-file download
Click on Continue in the blue oval.
A small window will come up on the right -
Opening R215165.EXE
Click on Save File
A small window will come up on the left. Allow the file to fully download, then DOUBLE-click on it. Follow the easy instructions.
When you are finished close all windows, go back to your desktop screen, and restart your computer, IF you are not asked to do so.
Don't forget about the Volume icon in the system tray. Audio needs to be Enabled, and Volume needs to be up to where you desire.
