Thank for that qestion,
At this point, if you are a lay-man or person you need to eject the camcorder and aloud it open and put under sun light for an hour. If its do the same, take it to a technicain.
but if you are a technicain, dismantle the camcorder and put the machinusm under hot tempreture for 20minute. then mount it back and your camcorder will be fine.
I have done this time and again and it has never fail me.
I hope you will smile.

Because of the fact that Microsoft thinks they're so smart and released Windows Vista as their newest piece of ****, this camera will not work with Vista. The drivers for Windows Vista are non-existent. I went to the site for Sony and could only find XP drivers and 98 and 2000. They do not make them for Vista. And of course Vista should have most common drivers preinstalled, yet they don't have this one. I haven't found a way around it yet. I tried to get the drivers for Windows XP and install them. No good! It cannot be used on "this current operating system." Good luck. Hope somebody else finds an answer.
