Smuddge, I'll guess since June 2011, you've recovered your MC303. So if that's the case congratulations, it's a great feeling to repair something you enjoy using. For any one else, here is my repair for the MC303 as smuddge and I had the same issue. Err 1 audio quality poor to non existent. Needs new battery, CR2032 (6 dollars) Remove the bottom cover carefully 8 screws. (Don't lose them) Remove and replace CR2032 Replace bottom cover 8 screws. Recommend factory preset (restore) Power off MC303 Hold shift Turn on power, (start up dialogue) By pressing (ENTER) you have just restored the factory setting. This might be a nice treat if you we're in the dumps over your gear malfunctioning. Regards, 5

1989 Honda Accord caliper piston

brakes are easy when you know facts.
no ABS (good)
new. good.
ok i do hope 89 is not 98, that be a big error here,,, big time.
my first guess, is the brake is on the car. and not laying on a bench.
since new, my magic clairvoyance says, on car, and bled.
so when you pust back the pistion, and the brake pedal in fact has the proper free play (bet not) then the vent ports in the MC are wide open
and the fluid backs up to the MC fill jar .

if not, the piston blocks the port and guess what
the most dangerous car on earth you have.
do not work on brakes until you read how they work or at the
least all the pitfalls, or risk everyones life, even my wife and kids.

also if 89 the caliper hose are no good.
no hose lasts that long if origianl
and collapse inside and do the same thing.

so i push the pistion, and crack the MC line to that caliper
and the pistion moves. (leaks) bingo bad MC vent port.
if that fails , i crack the MC fitting, oops it now moves.
bingo band flex line, in THAT order.

easy peasy.
and way too late , hope i saved a life.

Roland Micro Cube Amp fuse blew out. How do you fix it?

have a look here:

although it doesn't mention the fuse you will probably find it. Sometimes there is a fuse access on the outer case.

Solved the `stuck in DTV mode' by pressing 01 numbers on the remote. This freed the problem.
Still cannot get scroll to pass channel 32 though!

Roland mc-303

Yes, that is the likely problem.

The unit takes a 9 volt AC adapter with enough current.

Several sources are selling them on eBay. Search for mc-303 and some will come up.

Likely the adapter you have does not have enough current, hence the regulator within the mc-303 drops out of regulation paprt of the AC cycle.

Display-is-flickering-and-wont-play

Ok i know this is going to be something you have already done but i have to say it to assist you in troubleshooting. Can you ensure that all connections are properly connected. As for as the display i know for a fact on these if they have ever been yanked or pulled on, The connectors pull up from the mainboard and need to be retouched and soldered back down. As far as not playing if its shorting cause the monitor isnt connected properly the circuit overload protections for the unit comes on and shuts down the workstation. That applys for the onboard and the vga output. also might want to check the powersupply on the board itself.

Thanks Nathan
