After installing amp into new car, found there to be lack of , if no power boost whatsoever from the amp.The unit itself has power and the light is on, but i am only receiving normal speaker sound if that. i have checked all fuses, and boost levels.... your assistance is greatly appreciated, cheers, tim

thats sounds like a possible boost control solenoid failure.when the boost solenoid fails it wont activate a warning light and because of the lack of boost the engine computer fail safe feature will put it in limp mode in order to keep the driver from harming the engine

I have found those code to be shown in not only over boost conditions (wastegate) but EGR flow as well as Catalyst conditions.

Being that you are lacking power I suggest you check the EGR for being stuck open, or the catalyst for being clogged.

These engines do not like light driving, you should drive them hard from time to time to kep the catalysts clean of debris.

change computer unit or repair

I suggest that you start with determining the condition of your batteries and work outwards from there. Dead batteries just don't want to take a charge. Test your batteries with a meter before you start part swapping. The internal charger is only about 4 amps so it will take many hours to charge a 24volt system.

how old is and mileage.

You need a dealer to do testing on the waste gate control system.

Change the battery, your battery gone bad, and isn't fully recharging itself, and isn't havn't the min cranking amp require by your car to startup the engine, however there still enought charge in there only to power windows, radio etc. When starting a engine, you need at least a min cranking amp, and requires more when it's cold outside.

what is your actual psi? check into the other divertor valve or the n75 valve(electronic)

I had a similar problem with my Phillips 42 in. LCD HD TV.

Here's the problem. The Power Supply Board. I opened my TV up(warranty was up of course) and found several bad capacitors. Phillips and several other companies were sold capacitors that although were highly rated failed within 5 years because of a lack of preservatives. All sorts of electronic equipment is now being effected due to these defective capacitors.
Solutions?
1. Take it in and have it fixed
2. Open it up, check the board for faulty capacitors(bulged or leaking) Buy a new Power supply board and install it.
3. Remove PSB, remove faulty capacitors and replace with compatible new ones.
