According to page 24 of your owner's manual, the E1 error is indicative of a short circuit in the Indoor Air Thermistor. The unit will likely require service.
E1 CODE MEANS AIR FILTER IS DIRTY OR THE UNIT NEEDS RESET. IF SO YOU CAN TAKE YOUR VACUM AND CLEAN IT. IF VACUM DOES NOT WORK. WASH IT AND LET DRY BEFORE REPLACING. IF THS DON'T WORK UNPLUG AC FOR A COUPLE HOURS, TO RESET YOUR UNIT. HOPE THIS WORKS FOR YOU
If draining the tank didn't solve the problem. Turn the unit OFF and unplug it for 15 minutes. Then plug the unit back in and turn it ON. Turning that time out, hopefully the electronics reset and reverted back to the original factory settings. If so, the Full light should not illuminate.You can then set the controls as you like.
