How do i turn up the volume on my vivicam

That depends on the model of your Vivitar ViviCam. Many Vivitar cameras do not record audio at all so there is no volume to turn up. With these cameras you cannot record a soundtrack. You can record one on a separate audio recorder and add it in using video-editing software on a computer.

When i want to make a video on the camera, it has no sound and i want it to have sound because whats the point of having the video capture if it has no sound?....

The ViviCam is basically a still camera with some video features grafted on. While it captures videos, it does not record any sound to go with it.

I know that wasn't the answer you wanted to see, but there it is.

My camera doesnt record audio. I record video just fine, but it doesnt play back the auido. :( Also, this is the 3rd vivicam 8400 that I have bought. The other 2 broke when I brought them underwater.

The 8400 is designed primarily as a still camera, with some video capabilities grafted on. As such it captures images not sounds. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer but you cannot record one on this camera.

I have a new vivitar vivicam 5024 digital camera and cant get sound on video play back how can i do it?

The Vivitar 5024 does not record sound with videos.
It has a pretend microphone position!
Some leaflets says it does record sound but this is an error.
There is no mention of audio in the manual.

Videos have no sound

Many cameras that capture videos, don't have a microphone to record the sounds.
For all that the Vivitar 5022 does have, a microphone is not one of them. There is no sound recording capability for this model.

How to install sound to videos on vivitar vivicam 5024?

You would have to install a microphone in the camera, then add the circuitry to record audio along with the video :-)

You could add sound to the video on the computer, but not in the camera.

The 3710 does not support sound while taping. It only captures short video segments without recording any audio. / Don
