LG 32LB4D LCD TV Problem. A few minutes (3-5) after normal operation on turning the set on, the screen will alternate between normal and a white only static display of the input. This will alternate a couple of times, then the screen goes black. Once black, the TV will no longer accept any inputs. I cannot even turn it off from the button on the side of the TV. Any thoughts on what the problem is?

The T con board is not working correctly with your TV or the cable connections are either broken or loose or the external device are not attached fully to the TV. Or the wiring is not been connected properly.
Recently a 3 year old VIzio TV I bought started having problems. The set would turn on normally for a few seconds then the picture would go dark with everything else operating normally including sound. Remembering a similar laptop computer problem I diagnosed previously, I immediately suspected a defective TV screen backlight. To verify this in your own TV, get a very bright flashlight and with the TV operating in the failed blank screen mode, shine the flash light into the blank screen from various angles and distance (including touching the screen). If the LCD is still operating, you'll see a dim motion in the flashlight's reflection, thus proving it is indeed a failed backlight.
With your set turned on, press exit or return on your LG remote. The white screen should go away and you will still see power only. Now turn off the TV and wait a few seconds. Turn your TV on and you should be in business.
You may have 24vdc (for backlight)/12vdc (for sound) power supply problem or backlight inverter board problem that causes the 24/12vdc power supply to shutdown.
You will have to do in-depth troubleshooting by taking voltage measurement before and after it fails to work, look for bad caps first to see any sign of leaking/bulging tops (notes: not all bad caps will have leaking/bulging tops).
Ur tv have problems,etheir the Tuner signal board or the LCD inverter board.After u turn on the tv,no picture turn tv off/on 3-4 times each time wait a few mins.see if the picture come on?Than it ur Tuner board have problems.If u turn on the tv and get just a flashes of a picture about 30 or 40 sec.than just disappear,than ur LCD inverter board is the problems it dead.
