Protron PLTV-26 Flat Screen Television

The Solution #1 did not work, as the phone number answered by stating that Protron filed for bankruptcy. Would you have another company which would carry a stand base for our TV?

I need a stand base for a protron pltv-26, or a way to rig it so it will stand upright

Hello, My Protron PLTV-26 TV will show a picture for a few seconds then the screen turns black.Tryed unplugging it but nothing works.The set is only 3 years old.Any solutions?

Protron 26 inch lcd.....turn on, picture flashes on for a second or two then screen goes black...audio still functions ok...tried unplugging to reset...doesn't work....any thoughts

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc. Look for 5vdc, 12vdc, and 24dvc.
