I have NS-PCS41 Insignia 2.1 computer speakers. The left speaker no longer works, but does occasionally crackle or play softly. This problem is independent of the audio source (ipod, computer, whatever), so it is most certainly the speakers themselves.

I am looking to download a driver for NS-PCS20 computer speakers with my HP desktop computer.

Hi,

The speakers dont require driver, if you are not getting sound properly, then you need to update or reinstall the audio driver from HP's website for your desktop's model.

Shrey

Speakers only produce sound when computer is first on.... like the first hour or two. If computer is left on and I need to hear something I have to restart.

Chances are that this is a computer problem but first you need to eliminate the speakers. Disconnect the speakers from the computer and plug them into you iPod. Start it playing and leave it - check that 2 hours later there is music coming from them or longer if you like. If there is still music then the speakers are fine and the problem is the computer.
You will need help on site to sort that.

Problems with converting from earjack to main play

Best Buy replaced them with a lower watage model, mine were the NS-3099 model 40 watage, that Best Buy was out of so they traded mine for the NS-3006 model 14 watage. Believe it or not the 3006 was $10 more and sounded like **** on my system. I further read the specs to realize the difference. I drove back up to Best Buy and replaced with a Logitech system of 50 watage for $20 more. Although these do sound better than the 3006, they are in my opinion not as clear as my $30 Insignia 3099 model. None of this makes sense to me. All I can deduct is that Best Buy wanted folks to buy their system at a cheaper price to get a taste of what they can do, and then screw you into buying something else when they falter. And I had limited choice on the shelf. There you go. Thanks for your reply just the same. Terry
