You will need software like Avery label or Microsoft Word in order to run labels. Do you have a program of this nature on your computer? Give me an idea of what software you have and I can walk you through creating label. As far as the printer goes, you just need labels. We can create the template you need for the specific label you are using. Would you please provide the label number you are using so we can create the correct template?

You are welcome. I am not sure if your familiar with Word, but if you go to Tools - Letters and Mailings - Envelopes and Labels and select the Labels tab, you can click on Options and you will be able to select the pre-fab template for your Avery label number. Scroll down the list and select Avery 5260 and click OK. Type in the name, address and city, state and zip of the label info or whatever information you wish to have the label print. You can select at the bottom as to whether you would like a full page of the same label, or if you wish to print just one.

If you would prefer to create a page of custom labels, click on new document on the right hand side and you will see that the template is place into a blank word document. Within this page you can choose to place graphics and addresses, your choice of text, the amount of labels of each you would like or to create a mail merge from a program like Outlook. It is that simple. Let me know if you require any additional specifics and lets get you printing labels....

Hi

Just remove the ink cartridge. Clean the print head by a soft cloth with rubbing alcohol to remove some sticky or ink residue. Then rub the printhead into a plain paper until ink flows. Then run the print nozzle for 2 times.

I hope it helps you. Regards

How do I get my hp deskjet 6940 to print labels. I'm trying to print Avery 5498 labels

You will have to use software to make the labels...like Microsoft Office Word, Open office Writer, or Microsoft Works. In MS Office Word (2003) go to tools->letters and mailings -> envelope and lables. Create the label you need.

If you use open office, go to File->New->Labels and create the label you need.

After which, you put the paper in the printer and print them out. May want to check out the size so you make sure it prints correctly.

-best of luck

I WANT TO PRINT LABELS ON A HP PHOTOSHOP D5360

You may want to check the ensuite software that came with the printer, and see if it offers label printing. More likely, you can access label printing templates in Microsoft Office or Works, perhaps even Openoffice.org's freeware.
