50.9 error - Fuser Failure (Abnormally High
Temperature Sub Thermistor)
1. The connector between the fuser and
the printer is not connected properly.
Reseat the fuser. Check the connector J5013
between the fuser and the printer. Replace it
if damaged.
2. Short in the sub thermistor. Turn the
printer off and remove the fuser. Measure the
resistance between the fuser connectors
J5013LA-4 (SUBTH) and J5013LA-3
(+3.3V). If it reads 600 ohms or below (at
ambient temperature), replace the fuser.
3. Faulty DC controller PCB, replace the
DC controller PCB.
I think you've some problems on the connectors, check the connections.
If you are able, replace the broken fuser roller from the old fuser with one from the new fuser.

just an update for you al..
the connectors and the dc controllers checked out just fine..
that's not the problem.
but i have taken on the bold step of taking appart the new and old fuserkit, just to create one working one from those two (old end new broken) fusers.
i have opend the new fuser unit and have taken out the heater and its sensors, and have replaced it with the heater and sensor unit from the old fuser kit.
and like a miracle it works.... :-)
just keep in mind to first strip the old one and the seccond after the old one, just to learn the inside of the fuser.
but for now its working fine, no more errors and a nice clean print.
thanks for the help. your last words where the push for me to take them appart.
I thought, wel nothing to lose, its broken already.
