Interiour light dosent work *** lighter dosent work

1st fuse check, if its electrical leave it to a technichan

you blew some fuses

cigarette lighter? bad fuse, wiring problem , or something jammed down in there.

check all your fuses in cab and under hood, if all are good check if wire has fallen off the back of lighter housing.

Except for the windows and lighter, problem may be a bad or worn out headlamp switch. First respondant is also correct. 1st thing I'd check is condition of electric connections.

There is no fuse for the lighter.I would try replacing just the lighter itself. Also check to see if there is power to the receiver that you plug the lighter into. If you don't have a "stab light",you can get one at your local parts store.Clip the aligator clip to a known ground,then touch the center contact and the bulb should light up.

Push the cigarette lighter in and see if it pops back out after 10 seconds or so, if it dosent, or it dosent get hot (dont touch it to find out, just put your hand near it) you have a blown fuse. Check and replace the accessory fuse in the fusebox.

check interiour light switch on your top council it just might be off.

your ciggy lighter fuse is the same fuse for all the interiour lights etc.. its a 15amp but u can use a 10 amp..its a boring job but the easiest way to see what fuse it is

take out a fuse look at it (there will be a little silver s shaped componant inside) if this is broke...it needs replaceing. if its intact its fine..just do that will all your fuse's

the reason i say the above is, in the haynes manual its a 15amp slot 21 but mine didnt have a fuse in 21..so the above is alot easier and you can see if any others need changing whilst ya there

so you replaced a blown fuse to the cigar lighter and it still dosent work?.. then the wiring was compromised before the fuse blew..you need to repair bad wiring to cigar lighter and/or lighter itself internally melted /failed due to your air pump asking for more electricity than the cigar lighter could deliver..once repaired do not use the air pump there again ..good luck
