DVD player(PVS1965s) is blowing the 10 amp fuses from the vehicle. Used to work just fine. Would this be a vehicle issue?

Need to find out what fuse radio is run off of

The fuses that run the radio is depends how your vehicle is equipped with or without dvd player and with or without steering wheel controls but if you check fuses F1 which is a 10 amp fuse, ?F7 which 5amp fuse, F22 which is a 10 amp fuse, and F31 which is a 20 amp fuse, you will have them all covered all of which are located in the fuse box inside the vehicle. thanks for using fixya

Power washer works perfect for 10- 15 minutes then blows fuse. Put in new fuse straight away and works fine again for another 10-15 minutes.

These machines can have issues such as you have explained if they are run off from an extension cord or if they are really far from the breaker box. They have this issue because the amount of amps that are going to the machine aren't enough for the motor to operate efficentially so the motor in turn gets hot and blows the fuse or the breaker.

Another issue could be is that the nozzle is being restricted to much and is causing the motor to work harder than what it should and is causing the machine to over heat. This in turn would cause the motor to blow a fuse or a breaker.

CD player wont come on was doing weird things

You have your accessory wire (red wire) and remote ran together and the yellow (constant wire ran separately in the dash?

You need the red wire to so you can use accessory and to turn off your cd player when your vehicle turns off.

You need the yellow wire to keep all your settings stored. base/treble/time clock

Just a little clarification. Your amp turns on with the remote wire (blue) wire, if that is not hooked up you will get no power to the amp.

Here's the in-dash diagram to your vehicle at the bottom of this pdf.

You want to focus on N,O, and P

Do you happen to have an after market wiring harness? These can be bought from walmart for your vehicle. You just take the male end connect the colors together and plug end that goes to your cd player into the female end. Very easy to do.

You could also have one of these fuses out under your hood, that might cause you to lose power to everything.

Blows the 15 amp fuse

if you live in a town that has a remote starter installation shop you can just go there and buy a new pinswitch for around 6 dollars i recomend changing the location of it under the hood
and if your red power wire has only 15 amps of protection you should switch it for a 30 amp fuse thats the minimum that is going to be pulled when the unit cranks the starter wire so the 15 will deffinately melt or blow and check to insure the ground is perfectly connected (in the world of current vs. resistance the weakest point will give in first...

Blowing fuses

Isn't the 1 amp fuse too small? Usually 12 volt operated electronics require a higher amperage fuse. Check with the adaptirs owners manual first before changing again.

Kawasaki dvd screen damaged

Visit the official customer service website for this product, http://1800customersupport.com/kawasaki, or call them at 1-877-252-6873. They should be able to sell you one. Target also sells an item that should work. It's called the Kawasaki AVM678 or Audiovox AVM6781, and designed to work specifically with the PVS1965 or PVS1965S. I believe it's $79.99, but only available in their stores, in the portable DVD section of the electronics department.
