My Pooket Loox 520 has stopped syncronising. I am not getting alerts on the handset saying my storage memory is critical and I should transfer files to my card memory. How do I do this and resolve the issue. A prompt response would be very much appreciated
Regards
Phil Murphy

Connect the USB cable from the device to the computer.
From the home screen of the device, swipe down the Status bar.
Tap the USB prompt.
Tap File transfers.
On the computer, click the Start button, then click File Explorer.
Note: If Tap to choose what happens with this device pops-up, click on it, then click Open device to view files and skip the next step.
Click This PC, then double-click the device name under Devices and drives.
Double-click Phone to explore the content of your phone's internal memory.
Note: If a memory card is inserted in the device, double-click SD card to explore the content of the memory card.
Drag and drop files into the appropriate folders and/or subfolders as preferred.
Music files are typically stored in a folder titled Music.
Photos and Videos captured with the handset camera are typically stored in a folder titled DCIM.
Note: 3rd Party applications may store photos in different storage locations. Consult the application's support website or contact the developer for further assistance.
Once the file transfer is complete, disconnect the USB cable.
The files are now transferred.
You will have to delete some files to make room for the programs to work properly. If this phone supports memory card, you can move some files to that and free up the memory.
2080 1203 2055...Critical / Failure / Error...2080 1203 2346The Storage Management Service performs alert monitoring and logging. By default, the Storage Management Service starts when the managed system starts up. If you stop the Storage Management Service, then alert monitoring and logging stops. Alert monitoring does the following:
Updates the status of the storage object that generated the alert.
Propagates the storage object's status to all the related higher objects in the storage hierarchy. For example, the status of a lower-level object will be propagated up to the status displayed on the Health tab for the top-level Storage object.
Logs an alert in the Alert log and the operating system (OS) application log.
Sends an SNMP trap if the operating system's SNMP service is installed and enabled.
It means that theres no enough disk space on your phone. If your phone does have memory card then you can transfer some files from your phone to the memory card e.g. pictures, musics.
If your phone does not support memory card then you have to delete some messages or entries that you no longer need ir simply format your phone but make sure you back up your contacts and some info that you cant afford to lose
In Samsung s3310,we cannot change the default memory storage to memory card.Instead we can split up the file which has large content like 500 megabytes or more.
The "phone memory full" error message can be avoided by splitting the file and then transferring it to phone and then to memory card.
your phone has 256megabytes free.so,split the file to 250MB and transfer it to phone and then transfer it to the memory card. Then transfer next 250MB file to phone ,then to memory card.I am saying this, for file content which is 500MB
Free-up your Storage Memory by erase or move any unnecessary or less necessary data from your Omnia's "My Device" storage to your Omnia's "My Storage".
delete that file off of the memory card and try it again.
If no go then I would try it on her hand set and back up the data to a comptuer using the usb cable on either handset ( which ever the memory card works fine on ) and then wipe the memory card transfer it to your handset and do what you need to do and you should be able to load the data from your handset on to it once its been wiped.
If you want to put the data back on you should be able to use the usb cable - assuming you got a usb cable of some description.
Otherwise if you have bluetooth you could enable bluetooth on both your handsets and transfer the data assuming you have enough storage space on the other handset.
If not let me know how you get on or what problems you come across and I will try and help further.
Use clearing programs (for example SKTools) for delete internet files. And do not install all the programs to my device install them to my storage to save memory. Set the browser's cache directory to use my storgare, set the camera working on my storage, delete unused wallpapers and ringtones.
memory card isn't really memory it's more like a disk drive. it's not like when you add memory to a PC and the new memory is automatically used.
To make use of this card you need to transfer some of your larger files to the card....
You can move files from within the ipaq...
Click and hold on file.
Select Copy
Click and hold
Select Cut
Navigate with File Explorer to the SD card....
Open File Explorer
Select My device
Now select SD Card
You can create a new folder or select an existing folder
Click on Edit at bottom of screeen.
Select Paste.
You can also move files directly from PC to Storage card......
While IPAQ is connected, go to My Computer, then double-click on Mobile Device, then double-click on Pocket PC. Now you will see your Storage Card, and you can use this just like a folder on your PC. You can create folders within it. You can click and drag files to it or to any of it's folders.
