There is a nut in the center of the blades. The easiest way to remove this nut is with an impact wrench. If you don't have one there is usually a hole in the disc where you can insert a screw driver to lock the blade from from turning and you will need a long handle ratchet in order to give enough torque to remove the nut. Once the nut is removed, the blade will slide right off. If you are doing this to sharpen the blades, you do not need to remove the blade to do this. Use a 1/2 HP grinder wheel and just evenly slide the wheel down the blade until it is sharp. CAUTION: it will cut you finger. Make sure you disconnect the power and the fuel is turned off at the time you do any of this work....

Masport 600st

remove your carb. have a flat clean spot to work. disassemble the carb paying attention as you do to where thing are. once you have remove the float bowl remove the rubber ring from carb or bowl(whichever it stuck to) remove your float being careful not to crush it or damage it. next remove the needle and seat if it didn't come out with the float. spray a quality carb cleaner through any and all ports or holes you can. some are dummy holes so expect some spray back (wear eye protection), blow carb out with compressed air only. no cloth or paper towel. reassemble in opposite order with new parts. make sure your float height is adjusted properly

Blades on Masport Ride-on won't disengage.

Yes sir assuming that all parts are origional. 9 times out of 10 its a rusted up idler arm. Remove the rust and grease up the idler arm bushings. Lubricate all other pivot points with machine oil or wd40.
