How to access startup forgot password?

Hi

If you mean your BIOS password you will need to remove the battery and then remove the case from your laptop to access the main board, there will be a battery on there that holds the setting when powered off, remove this leave out for 2 mins replace and then put back together and power up, your BIOS should now have no password so you can access the settings again.

Laptop SONY VAIO VPCEB32FM: how to remove BIOS password

The BIOS password is probably the Power On Password.
This method may not work. Remove the BIOS battery for 20 mins until the charge in the BIOS is depleted. Insert the BIOS battery go into the BIOS setting and set the Date and Time etc.
If this does nor work then the BIOS password is stored on an EEPROM chip and removing the BIOS battery won't work and there is probable no backdoor passwords.
The Sony support maybe able to offer a solution, check the support WEB site..

Hello, My name is Vahe and I have got the following problem, I have forgot my BIOS password and I can't to turn on. Laptop model Toshiba satellite A200-13M. So I have got some solution to delete...

The most common way that most of us know on how to reset or clear the BIOS password is to physically remove the power from the computer by disconnecting the power plug and then removing the cmos battery for 30 minutes from the motherboard. Another way is to reset the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard itself. Both of the 2 methods mentioned works because most motherboards use a battery to sustain the BIOS/CMOS settings for the motherboards PROM chip. So by cutting off cmos the battery power, the BIOS/CMOS settings will be erased. Hope this helps

Lenovo n500 forgot bios password

Hello, If you forgot your BIOS password,do not worry, you can reset your system back without requesting a BIOS password,Simply unscrew your laptop and get the motherboard of your laptop, locate the CMOS battery on the motherboard and remove for sometime for the battery to discharge say 4-10minutes,or better still if you can locate the jumpers for the BIOS and reset it,the BIOS password will be removed. It is the battery that keeps the BIOS chip alive by suppling it power,if power is not supplied to this chip, then the information on it will be lost. So, remove the battery for some minutes or reset your BIOS jumper on the motherboard WISH YOU THE BEST.

Compaq nc6000 PC Notebook: I forgot my power up password and now I can't get ...

If resetting BIOS via battery removal didn't work, their are a few software tools out there that claim to be able to read/write BIOS password protection. But otherwise you will need to replace the motherboard or the BIOS chip on the motherboard.
