With risk that warranty will be voided, you could open it and look for problems. Most of these have a speed control so if yours does, vary that to insure it is not near the real slow end of the range.

M-Audio controller. How do I fix a loose sub port?

I just had the same issue. The temporary fix I used worked for 2 years. I just stuck a small paper clip or safety pin in the corner of the port, and then plug the cable in. If those are too big just use something you can use to make the plug fit tight.

It finally stopped worked a couple of weeks ago, so I just bought a new USB port at an electronic store for $1.50 and soldered it on. I had to buy flux which was $3.00.

$5 and an hour of time after squeezing 2 extra years with paper clips. Priceless.

Just make sure you have a cold beer to solder with. Sticking drinks in a freezer wrapped in a wetpaper towel for 15 minutes is like a reverse microwave for beer.

I bought a XENYX 1832FX and only one channel is working on the main volume.. The led's on left side don't light up.. I have tested leads, speakers, and amp with an old mixer and they all seem to work fine...

Hello,

There's a button named "Stand By" this is probably the cause of your mixer issue, just take the button cover up and insert the spray cleaner pipe inside and give it 2 or 3 shots, then push it in-n-out several times and re-check the mixer outputs, let me know a bit more to improve help.

I bought the amp a few weeks ago and it worked perfectly for a couple of days and then for some reason the controlls just froze. the tap tempo light went out and the channel control light stayed the same...

Exercise your warranty IMMEDIATELY since you just bought it! If you bought this used, you LIKELY bought someone else's problem. The problem is likely in the digital effects area... probably a bad cable contact... but if under warranty DO NOT mess with it... return it for replacement or repair.

Hi,I just bought a Roland FS 1 footswitch.I have a Laney AOR 100 tube amp which takes a Laney FS 1 footswitch.I was hoping the Roland would work with my Laney but it doenst.I bought the Roland used as well...

OFTEN Roland has the opposite sense of normally closed contacts versus normally open. Test the switch with any continuity tester or an ohmmeter to see that the contacts work and come out to the switch. ALSO some amps require a TRS type connection (three wire plug) and others do not. From the schematic it appears that the Laney may REQUIRE a normally closed contact. There is also a pull switch involved that you MAY have to change the state of for operation of the pedal.

Here is the scheamtic for your amp:

Scroll down to the link at the page "Get Manual" and click to download. It is a JPG type file.

I can see a smaal current going trough the bulb but it doesnt fire regularly

It is important to understand how strobes work. A capacitor is charged to around 300 volts through a high value resistor. When the bulb is triggered, the capacitor charge drives the lamp with a high burst of current as the lamp breaks down with plasma. The lamp is USUALLY triggered by a very fine wire around it or one end that recieves a several thousand volt pulse from a trigger transformer that creates a field near the electrodes within the flash lamp. This field starts the gas in the tube breaking down which causes the plasma to form.
Typically you should see the voltage across the lamp build up to around 300 volts DC. You would need special instruments to see and measure the high voltage pulse that triggers the flash.
The usal cause of failure is degradation of the flash tube due to sputtering of the electrodes at one end. If you see a blackening near one end of the flash tube, time to replace the flash tube. DO NOT handle the glass of the flash tubes as skin oils can degrade them. If the bulb shows no blackening, possibly the triggering is not working. NO current flows through the flash tube until triggered, however there would be a small current charging the capacitor that is in parallel with the tube to build it to around 300 Volts DC.

USB not saving audio. It gives CPU out of memory error.

Don't have too many folders on a flashstick try keeping everything into four folders maximum and I think you'll find it works perfectly.
Good Luck
