I pressed the Chanel button on my vizio TV by mistake, while trying to adjust the volume. Now my TV says no signal. I've checked the input settings and its on TV.I've tried other settings and they didn't work. I tried to change the Chanel with the up and Down buttons and it didn't work. So I started pressing numbers trying to find a Chanel to get a signal.that didn't work either.
Its on Chanel 3 as a default and I've turned to chanels 1-10 I also pressed the last button before I did this and nothing happened. But thanks for the feed back I really appreciate it.Its on Chanel 3 as a default and I've turned to chanels 1-10 I also pressed the last button before I did this and nothing happened. The TV channel should be set on Chanel 3 or Chanel 4.
Use the remote control of the TV to set it.
You can also use the AUX ports (to TV) on the VCR and connect the three wires to the AUX ports on the TV (TV input). The two audio wires are to be connected to Audio in and the Video signal to the Video input.
If you get a garbled picture you can use press the tracking button on the VCR. Usually you press the Channel Up arrow, or Channel Down arrow to adjust the picture.
I would buy a universal remote for the tv. it should tell you the input code to put in remote for a vizio tv, then every thing should work! you can by one at wal-mart etc,
You don't say what you are trying to input but take note that your model does not have a digital tuner on the DTV input. If you use a digital OTA antenna, the signal must first go through a digital converter or tuner before it goes into the DTV input. The DTV/ANT input is only cable ready. There is no digital tuner in the TV to activate the DTV menu.
Since sensor is receiving the signal of other inputs, there is nothing wrong with it. This looks like an incompatibility issue. You may have to retry using the original remote control.
I'm sorry for the difficulties you're experiencing in watching programs on the TV. Since the screen says RGB, it appears that you've selected input as RGB(VGA, also known as PC input). If you have nothing connected to PC input (RGB), please change the input to HDMI or component or what ever it is by using the input button on the Remote of the TV.
In some TVs INPUT Button is labeled as TV/Video. Press it repeatedly to change the input from one to next.
Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require any clarifications.
If
your television is displaying a blue screen or no signal message and
then turning off, your TV may be at an inactive input. Here's how you
can get back to watching your TV: 1. Powering on your
TV and press the INPUT button on the VIZIO remote control repeatedly
until a picture re-appears. 2. If this does not work, try again but press the button slower this time.
HERE'S THE FIX: I just went through this with my Vizio VX37L. TV is stuck in RGB input. This is the fix....
TV is stuck in RGB input.
(option 1) Power on TV, and press the INPUT button repeatedly and rapidly until you can change to a different input, such as AV.
If that doesn't work, try:
(option 2) With the TV off, press and hold the INPUT button on the side of the TV for about 5 seconds. The TV should power on and the input list will appear. The TV will no longer be locked, and the INPUT button should function properly after that.
Tries turn the Direct tv decoder box off/on button,or unplug and replug, so the software can run it upgrade.Take out the signal input as a HDMI or cable connect direct to the antena port in the tv. Check for wear and tear and reconnect, change all batteries in the remotes. That should get u up and running, not than u have electronics componnent defective somwhere.
Just hold down the input button on the right side of the tv. This is the bottom one. So, With the tv off, press and hold the bottom button (input) when the tv turns on, and you see the input menu release and press the button to put the tv into a mode that works! Thanks
