Media player does not pick up the songs on my Sansa m250 mpd player

I am trying to delete some or all of the songs on my mp3 player, but I am unable to do so. Media player recognizes my mp3 player when I plug it in, but when I click on any of the icons under the Sansa icon it says there are "no files on this device" when in fact there are. My player is almost full that is why I need to delete some of the songs to add more.

Files not deleted from m250

Try this solution:

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

How to remove music from sansa m250 that is no longer on computer

ok, plug the mp3 into your computer, click on my computer, then where it says removable devices you should see your mp3 listed, double click it. browse the folders listed until you find the songs that you want to delete , when you find one you want gone RIGHT click it then click delete/ It should then remove the song from your mp3 and put it into your recycling bin.

Not enough space to listen

If it''s any consolation, the same thing happened to me after I loaded about 1.6 GB (~250 MB left) of music on my Sansa m250. I tried to delete the required 8MB, but the directory structure got destroyed to the point where my computer wouldn''t recognize the device. I called their technical support and they''re having me send it back to them for a replacement! It''s not you, but the player! I don''t know if there''s anything that can be done from a consumer standpoint.

Gagan, Please see my answer here http://www.fixya.com/support/t149468-san_disk Formatting your Sansa should do it. Let me know if it didn't and please rank my answer. Thanks, D.
