Can you please tell me if this TV is Digital ready, and if so can you please email me the lead and earial connection. I have a Panasonic NV-FJ630 6 Head VHS recorder connected to the TV but nothing works. I don't know how the wires should be connected. Can you please help me. I am a pensioner

Seems like you have an Inverter issue
Inverter board is under the psu to the left and its job is to
light the lcd panel so you can see the picture

Maybe Bad caps in power supply,Crack or splits on top of cap or leaking, Check value of caps in power supply.

hi, if your tv has totally black screen the cause is either the inverter board get busted or the back light need replacement. if their is a white screen display but no picture, you must check the t-con board for screen panel display which have defective or burnt component parts .

Check the menus for both the DVD and TV to be sure that the audio is being sent thru the HDMI cable. Some sets and DVDs will separate the audio from the video be default unless told to send it down the HDMI. Update this if that does not resolve the problem and post the make and model of all gear in the chain.
