Logitech Wave Keyboard + windows XP

Using windows xp, how do i get my zoom buttons to work?

  • healthyhands Aug 19, 2008

I installed the disk, I even installed the "uberinstall" thats on their website. =) I, for some reason, am unable to get the zoom buttons to work. I have even tried macro'ing them in. It says both Vista and XP on the box. Thats the reason I picked it up! =)

Same problem.  Box said XP, that's WHY I BOUGHT IT.

The zoom button is supposed to work with XP. Mine did, but I had to replace my MOBO last night, and after reinstall of Windows XP, it no longer works. I was using an older BIOS revision, but it was the same MOBO from Asus as what I replaced it with. Can't get the Zoom to work at all. Speaker volume works, but no longer displays the bars on the screen. Anyone know it Windows 7 is supported by this Wave Cordless Desktop? Going to try Windows 7 pretty soon.

Im certain those features on that keyboard are designed for Windows Vista , but if you have any software that was with the keyboard install it , now these features should work.

If you can't find your CD/'s here is a link to the logitech website with the applications

>> Logitech Wave Keyboard Software <<

If you find this doesnt help , im certain that it was designed for vista not to work with XP.

Did a foolish thing...bought a Logitech Wave Pro keyboard and mouse. The software doesn't recognize the right keyboard even though the normal keys work, and the mouse does not work at all. Tried...

I had the same problem and reinstalling the drivers worked for me.
To remove and then reinstall the drivers, follow these steps:
1.Disconnect the device from the computer.
2.Turn off the power for the device, if the device has a separate power supply.
3.Open Device Manager. To do this, use one of the following methods:
In Windows Vista or Windows 7, click StartStart button , type device in the Start Search box, and then click Device Manager in the Programs list. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.
4.In Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type devmgmt.msc, and then click OK.
5.Double-click Keyboard, right-click the keyboard that you use, and then click Uninstall.

If your device is not listed:
1.Restart the computer.
2.First, turn on the device, if you have to, and then plug the device into the computer. Your computer detects the device and then reinstalls the drivers for the device.

Hi, theres a easy solution to fix the problem :-) your version of windows thinks you are using an american keyboard there keyboards are different from the uk ones. to fix it on windows XP Start Button, Control Panel, Regional & Language settings, and change all the US settings to british. On Windows 98/Millenium Control Panel, Keyboard, and change the US Keyboard to British.. on XP you sometimes have to change it twice for it to work,,, GL :-) John
