Error code C070 or C0070 is related to toner not seated properly. Power off the machine and gentlly take out the toner bottle. Turn on the machine without the toner bottle, let the machine go through its normal routine when the indicator comes on for toner install toner bottle. If the code comes back you have a problem with the Toner Bottle motor, gear, or Main Board.
C0500 means Heating Roller warm-up failure. Open and close the right side door. There's a switch hidden under the frontcover activated by the side door. Sometimes the grey plastic arm attached to the sidedoor is not actuating that switch properly.
To reset the error Localize hole on right side of control panel. In hole is switch. Press it. Machine will restart. Enter "3" from the 10-Key Pad when dot appears at the center on the left side of the screen while the start-up screen is being displayed. (Enter code 0000) You'll enter Initialize Mode. Press Trouble Reset. If error apears again, remove Fixing Unit and check lamp, thermo fuse or thermistor. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.
