I cannot get my Cyberhome DVD to work

Not reading anymore DVD movies disc or CD musics disc.The DVD laser eye head reader it is dead.Can't be repair must be replaced,not worth it well cost the same price as a new DVD player unit,if repair by a tech and have to buy parts for it.Basic DVD player unit are very cheap these day.U can buy a new one just a basic DVD player only will cost u like $40.

the movie format is not compatible for your CD player
check your player Manual

Check your dvd settings, read the manual that came with it. Or you can just pump up the brightness on the tv when watching movies.

insert a normal music cd for 5 seconds eject. put your dvd movie back in

Maybe it the problem that u dont close the session on the CD/DVD. Finalize the CD of DVD and u can play it on every DVD/CD player

I had same problem, I resolved by this way..
After opening cover , I found one ribbon wire was not moving freely,(That wire is connecting Lens), After stopping DVD, by hand I have done it free (for easy moving), After that it started working properly.

good luck, cyber home dvd players are wierd.... a friend of mine bought one, took the dvd out and it still played the movie for a little bit...

I have a cyberhome CH-300 my player running 50mins and next stuck the move .

First you need a player that plays divx if it does then try downloading the movie onto a different disc the dvd-r have never worked on my player even though it says they will the dvd+r sometimes works its a crap shoot.

are they bootleg dvd's? if not try getting a lense cleaner because wrong disc means it's reading your dvd's as .mov files which only play on quicktime in a computer. if it reads your cleaner as wrong disk too then get yourself a refund cuz it has a motherboard malfunction.
