How do I configure 4410 wirless router with two ssid's

If you are not able to use wirless signal of your WI-FI router you must add another E900 AP and use same SSID with Different Channel Configuration.

The SSID is the router's wireless network name.

These settings can be used to configure the wireless card and wireless adaptersin your computer/laptop.

Try RESETTING the Netgear back to the default setting and then configure it again.
To RESET the Netgear, power up the Netgear then press andhold the RESET button at the back of the router until all the LEDs flash. Connect a LAN cable from the Netgear to the LAN port on yourcomputer, open a browser and enter the Netgear configuration URL -

The default login = admin
The default PW = password You can now change the admin password and configure thewireless settings.
Go to the wireless configuration and set up the SSID and WPA or WPA2encryption.
Apply these settings to the wireless card in your laptop/computer.

If this does not work then the Netgear routy is faulty, then you need a new wireless router.

You can protect your router by changing the default PW (write it down and putit in a safe place)
Go to the wireless configuration and set up the SSID and WPA or WPA2encryption.
Apply these settings to the wireless card in your laptop/computer.

First configure the wireless router with the SSID and WPA encryption etc and the configure the wireless card in the computer with the wireless router's settings. You maybe be connected (accidently) to the Internat through your neighbour's unsecured wireless network.
To configure and secure your wireless router and computer, follow these instructions : -
1. Connect the wireless router to your computer with a LAN cable.
2. Start your browser and enter the router's configuration URL
3. Enter the router setup, login and password
4. Change the admin password
5. Go to the wireless settings and change the default SSID and turn off SSID broadcast.
6. Setup encryption key the strongest is WPA2 (if not then WPA)
7. For further security measures - turn on MAC address filtering and enter the MAC address of the wireless cards on the computer/s you want to connect to this wireless router.
8. Record the settings you have made and keep it in a safe place and Save the settings.
9. Configure the wireless cards on the computer/s with the SSID and encryption settings of the router.
10. Remove the LAN cable between the router and the computer then the computers should be able to connect to the router.
