Why does the pedal vibrate while vehicle is moving?

brake pedal I take it
this from warped disc rotors for the brakes
the warp makes the caliper pistons move in and out and this comes back to the foot pedal
the problem is bad original discs fitted from the factory , discs been machined past acceptable limits
the fix is new after market , quality discs with new disc pads

One of my tyres hub cap gets really hot

Check the brake, very important!!! If you have disc brakes, and the pads are worn, the disc can warp as it is turning from the subsequent heat, discolor the wheel rim with high heat, and burn out the wheel bearings. If the wheel bearings are already bad, the heat can warp the brake disk.

My Mitsubishi lancer ex is vibrating during 12okmph. I already did wheel alignment, wheel balancing but still giving me same problem. Please advise what is the solution it is 2011 model with 15,000klm...

I have a Mitsubishi lancer also and I found out after a discussion with the dealer service manager that a similar problem comes from warped front disc rotors. I noticed that there was a slight pulsing of the brake pedal at low speeds but the brakes worked as they should. I went to a brake specialist where I get all my clutch and brake parts and he informed that the genuine rotors are made of inferior metal and warp early in the service life. As they are not covered by warranty I bought after market discs of good quality and the problem went. What I am trying to say is that your low mileage problem is about the same as when mine started. If the disc rotors are warped then at speed the continuous touching of the pads will produce a vibration affect at high speed as at lower speed the vibration will be barely noticeable. Take the car to a reputable brake specialist and have him test the discs as to running true and are not warped.

When the speed over 50 miles, use of brake will make the car vibration.

Probably warped front brake rotors. This is common on all vehicles.

When brakes applied the steering wheel shakes.

Your disc brake rotors are warped. Solution? Remove the disc brake rotors and have them turned on a brake lathe. Warpage comes from a hot disc brake rotor going through a puddle of water which causes the warpage. If you have a Parking Brake, get in a safe area and when stopping, ONLY apply the parking brake. If the steering wheel stops shaking...there's your problem...warped disc brake rotors.

Are speedmaster front brake discs prone to warping? If so why? just been for mot and front discs are warpped this will be the second set the bike has only done 27000 no crashes well looked after riden all...

I have found that on a tyre change that the discs get damaged (warped) by the person that removes the tyre. They lay the wheel on it side which is a direct contact with the discs to the surface, aply pressure to work on wheel and this way they bend or warp the disk.

Ford fiesta steering tremmers when braking

Sounds like bent disc rotors, they bend & warp if they get hot. You can get them machined, where they put your discs on a lathe type machine & skim a millimeter or two off the front face of the disc, this of corse makes them thinner which in turn helps them heat up quick & then warp again. Best option is to get new disc rotors fitted! (if that is the problem)

Episodic pulsing brakes

you have to get the rotors machined, they are warped, nothing else causes brake pulse, why do they only do it sometimes? the reason is simple when they get hot the warped area will straighten out, it all depends on the temp of the rotors, you need not use factory parts, but always use name brand like Wagner and Raybestos, they invented modern brakes, they are the best, don't use Durastop or other off brands, they can cuase issues of warping the rotor's.

Kia Sportage 2006 - Front brake discs are warpped

warpped brakes can be a problem and can be solved. usually if they warp it is because the tires are out of balance or alignment. also when you go to change the brakes have your rotors checked to make sure those are not warped as well. if they are that will also cause the brakes to wear fast and also warp do to the friction. i would check the rotors to be safe. fiction causes heat to the brakes. and there for the brakes warp.
