Yesterday we had a power outage. When the power came back on, my TV would not work. The green light on the front just keeps flashing quickly. I tried unplugging it, and I unhooked all devices from it as well. It still won't work. Any suggestions? I own the Mitsubishi 1080 HDTV model WS 55511.

Thats caused by weak capacitors on the DM board. They drain when the power is lost then they cant recharge after power is restired. You can get the dm repair kit for your model at www.tvrepairworld.com it contains the repair instructions and the upgraded caps plus other service info on the cd

Green light on front of TV keeps blinking after power outage. I have tried powering back off and on and resetting the tv. Nothing works

Thats caused by weak DM capacitors when power is lost even for a minute the caps drain and then cannot charge again when power is restored so the led will blink non stop. The Repair kit called the WS48511 - WS65511 DM repair kit should solve the issue. The kit contains the caps and the cd with repair instructions. The kits available from www.tvrepairworld.com

I have a Mitsubishi WD-52725 DLP TV and green light (timer) is rapidly blinking after a power outage and set will not turn on. The bulb was replaced a month ago and it has worked fine since. Now it will...

Hello
make a System Reset process. To do this;
If the TV will not respond to either the remote control or the front panel controls and/or will not power Off, press the SYSTEM RESET button with a pointed item like the end point of a paperclip. The TV will turn Off and the TIMER light will flash quickly for about one minute. When the TIMER light stops flashing, you may again turn on the TV. The changes you made the last time the TV was on before you used the SYSTEM RESET button may be lost, however, the changes that were previously saved are not lost.
OK.

Unplug the television, let it sit for an hour an try to plug it back in. That should resolve the problem. if it still flashes green after you do this, use the "reset" button again. Let me know if that works.

hey i have had the same problem but i unplugged the tv for awhile about a half hour and then plug your tv into a different wall outlet if you can and should work. Flashing Green Light on Front of 73" Projection TV

on the signal board replace the caps by the 5/9 volt regulators. c2p04 is the main culprit. 6 caps in total can be changed. I believe c2p05 also.
