I'm very up-set I've email the company and I have got no response from any one I'm a Senior and I know how to work it, but no maps, and I do not know what I did with my sales slip!
I appreciate any help you can give me! If you can download the map just for USA to my computer! I have vista windows or send me a disk for it.

I have the same problem. I updated my Tom Tom through the program provided online and my USA/Canada Map disappeared. When I tried restoring from my back-up it told me there was no room. I deleted all unnecessary files to make room and there is still no room for the map. Very frustrating.I have the same problem. Are you sure that you have set the latitude and longitude units correctly? Under Preferences go to Set Units, press done until you come to latitudes and longitudes. You have three choices, Degrees in decimal form, Minutes, or Minutes and Seconds. Printed maps might use any of these forms of latitude and longitude. Avation maps are usually different than ground maps. Hiking maps also use either of the three forms.
i cant get maps of the world for free i am dissapointed as i baught this sat nav ystem from a local store in swansea the sales assistant told me that it would come with maps for europe thats hy i baught one of you products i am not happy as the sat nav only has british maps the company wont take back my nav now please help!!!
You could probably just manually delete the Canada/USA maps from the device, and copy over the europe (or whichever ones you need) to the device.
Just plug it in, and view the memory like a normal usb drive..delete the old, copy over the new.
Don't forget to use tomtom home to backup your gps device to your computer first (thus saving your canada maps for later..)
Afterwards, you would probably have to go into your preferences and choose the europe maps.

NO Maps found
Did updates and now tom tom one 3rd edition says no maps found. What are we supposed to do now? Its just a useless piece of junk!
