Hi, Our internet security software is about to come up for renewal. I was wondering what are the top 5 choices. We currently have CA and I saw it was ranked no.22. Also, I noticed that the pricing of certain products varies, depending if you buy direct or go through a 3rd party supplier. Is it safe and do you get the same product, when you go through a 3rd party supplier? Thank you for your time.!

Yes it is safe , if the supplier is an licenced supplier of that product. I would always suggest you to go to the dealer direct instead of supplier even though the rate is high because it is some thing concernec with the internet security.

Hello, You have three options to turn off the auto renewal.
1. Call you credit card company and don't allow renewal with it.Talk to you cust. service and put hold on it.
2. Log into your norton account and edit your profile and account and stop auto renewal there.

Turn off Norton Automatic Renewal service This document provides you the steps to turn off or cancel the Norton Automatic Renewal service for your product to prevent future automatic billing and renewal. If you cancel the Automatic Renewal service on your current product, you must manually renew your subscription before it expires or risk losing your Norton Protection. If you have already been charged and want a refund, read Requesting a Norton Automatic Renewal refund.
Turn off Norton Automatic Renewal service
  1. Go to Norton Management to cancel the Norton Automatic Renewal service.
  2. Click Sign In.
  3. Sign in to Norton with your email address and password.
  4. Under Automatic Renewal, next to the Norton product for which you want to cancel Automatic Renewal, click Off.

The little house on the toolbar (left side) is set to bring up bing every time I log on. I want it to start up on msn.ca Please tell me how to change this. Thanks. Jim.

You may set your homepage to msn.ca by following the steps below.

-Open Firefox
-On the address field type in msn.ca
-Select Tools > Options.
-Select Main from the menu on the top.
-Click Use Current Page.
-Click OK.

My computer is not accept current Norton renewal
You don't need to install the renewal only need to activate the existing Norton pogram with the newer product key

to activate click on express renewal and enter the renewal code. also you can download the latest version from this link at free of cost : www.norton.com/nis10

On Feb.3,2010, I renewed my subscription to Norton Internet Security. Something happened in my first try --my billing didn't come up. So, I tried a second time and everything worked out including download....
get ahold of symantic's, they can resolve that issue,or call your credit ca rd provider..

Need to make computer wireless
First of all, you need to know if you have wireless internet or not. Then find out if its A,B,G,or N wireless and you then now have a choice of different choices.

There is the USB wireless adapter, good for any computer/laptop with usb, (check with operating system though)

The next choice is if you have a laptop, and a PCIMIA slot, you could use this adapter made by microsoft.

Then, for a desktop, if you're safe taking the the case of your desktop computer, you could use this one.

After setting everything up, you need to connect to your wireless internet and input a security code if neccisary.
