Re: xerox workcenter pro 765 error 22
That is a fuser not reachine tremperature fault.
Most likely the fuser will need replaced.
Go to google and type in "the parts drop".
Call Britt and he should be able to fix you up with that part for a fair price.Just tell him the model number and code.

Sounds like the .pst file may have errors due to an application crash or perhaps power loss. I'd use the scanpst.exe program to check for errors and integrity which I believe in XP is located in the following directory: C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMapi\1033\Scanpst.exe
I started getting "Error 2123" recently, and spent A LOT of time searching for the fix. Here is what finally worked:
Find the hidden file "tracking.db3". It's in the hidden folder "ProgramData/Rosetta Stone" under the "C:" directory. Copy and paste it to the Rosetta Stone install directory (Program Files/Rosetta Stone).
Error 2123 should be gone, but now there will be Error 2125. So, in the Rosetta Stone install directory, run the "service_installer" .exe file by double-clicking it.
error 3343 is a database error. Unfortunately, PCCharge is still in the stone-ages of computer technology and they think VB6.0 and MS Access 2.0 are stable and secure ... At any rate. 3343 is simply an unrecognizable database, in this case due to corruption. There is a program in the PCCharge directory called VisData. This will allow you to run a repair and compact the database. To use: First make a backup of your PCCW.MDB database in your PCCharge directory (C:\Program Files\Active-Charge (PaymentServer); C:\Program Files\PCCW (PRO)).
Execute VISDATA.exe. File -> Repair MDB. Select the PCCW.MDB database from your PCCharge directory. Select 'No" to open Repaired Database. File -> Compact MDB ... 2.0 MDB Again, Select the PCCW.MDB It will then prompt for what you want the database to be named. Simply select PCCW.MDB again, select 'YES' to replace existing database. Select 'NO' to encrypt database. Select 'NO' to Open Compacted database Exit Visdata and start PCCharge.
It would also be a good idea to go ahead and update to the latest available Scripting Runtime library. This can be found by going to microsoft.com and searching for the phrase 'windows script'. (To my knowledge, 5.7 is the latest version).
If the machine is a Dell with DellControlPoint, open start, run then type msconfig and hit enter. Choose the Startup tab and find the startup item named "Dell" with the Command from "C:\Program Files\Dell\Dell Control Point\Connection Manager\Dell.UCM.exe" and uncheck the box. Hit Ok, then reboot your computer.
what i can suggest is that you download the latest drivers from the epson website, also check if your operating system is uptodate with the latest patches and updates..
see if this helps:
One overlooked reason for getting access denied and/or other problems when installing software is the existence of a file that needs to be replaced but can't be due to a read-only attribute. This most often occurs in the %SystemRoot% directory and its' sub-directories. To display the files in your NT directory that have the read-only attribute, type:
dir %systemroot%\*.* /ar /s
You can remove the read-only attribute from a file by using the attrib command. To remove the read-only attribute from all files in the NT directory and sub-directories, type:
attrib -r %systemroot%\*.* /s i the run command..hope it helps!
The best way to solve your problem is to do a hdd format. Use Topacces to backup the data. All data will be lost. Speed dails, e-mail adress, and e-filling data. Switch machine off, hold down 08 and switch machine on. After the beep let go of 08. Enter code 690 and hit start. Leave the machine to run through the format. Switch it off and on again. Note that the network settings will have to be set up again.
I had a similar problem myself, this is due to temp files which are extracted during an installation.
What happened is that a program extracted a setup file that was Read only into the temp directory. and that this file could not be overwritten or deleted, by the system (as it should be able to.
to fix look in your temp directories to find this bogus setup file, when you find it delete it.
