1845C Case skid steer wll not start every time. Is there a safety switch on this, besides the bar you pull down?

u'd need a proper manual for this in my opinion

what about safety switches under seat , retainer bar , brakes etc
if any are not in the correct position there will be no power

just guessing
pull the plugs and cylinders check for coolant

head gasket blown at water jacket coolant in the cylinders
water wont compress


cant find its repair manual online

have a case skid loader 1845c. when asked to go in reverse after applying pressure to go in reverse the left side does not respond, but after a couple of seconds will go in reverse. does any opne know what the problem could be? Thanks

Safety Are you strapped in?

Hi, I have a 2005 Case 410 that has 391 hours on it just had the oil and air filters changed 10 hours ago. While using the skid steer it suddenly shut down on me and wont start when I turn the key the hour meter reads ACC. I checked the voltage on the battery checked out at 13 volts coming out, and tried jump, no go. Checked the oil which was at a right level and seemed fine. My 1994 1845c case skid steer, Drive assy won't go forwards or backwards on right side tires.Left tires will operate fine.looked into chain area fluid was up, chains okay but fluid looked milky compared to the left drive assy.Could it be the right drive pump that has gone to heaven? When I bought it 2 years ago I noticed the right side DRIVE TRAIN was not as fast as the left when going forwards too.Could you please give me an idea where to look first? Thanks Frank

When all movement of the machine stops the B.I.C.S controller ( under your right elbow )is detecting a " safety " problem. When you get in the machine, turn the key switch to " on , turn and look at the B.I.C.S controller lights. They need to come on in sequence. Only lamp lit now is the seat, pull down seat bar, and that lamp should light. After you push the button to operate, the other 2 lamps should light. Once in the machine, bar down and it ready to travel, use your arms and raise yourself OUT of the seat about a couple of inchs, if the seat light goes out, replace the seat switch. Also ( will need to raise the cab ) check that the seat switch plunger bolt it tight. If it is loose and not holding the magnet in a fixed poistion, now lighned up with the switch that detects where the magnet is, the B.I.C.S controller thinks the OPERATER bounced out and WILL stop the machine. I think it takes aprox 3-10 seconds to make the ecm re-act to the " NO OPERATER " signal Good luck..
