I couldn't find the manufacturer with the part number you listed. I'm thinking it's probably not yet supported in Maverick. I"m assuming since you have a MacBook Air you had to download the drivers from the manufacturer's website. Does it list that Mac OSX 10.9 is supported?
Hi Sheila Assuming you have the installation disk(s) that came with your MacBook it's very straightforward.Insert the Disk then restart the computere while holding down the letter C. After a short while you will get a panel asking which language you want to use, choose and then continue. Foillow through with the continues until you get to the panel that shows the desination disk for the install. Click on it - it may have a yellow warning triangle. then at the bottom lefy of the same panel you will see a button marked 'OPTIONS'. Click it and a new panel will open offereing different types of install. Choose the option that says 'erase and install'. This will wipe the HD and reinstall your software back to factory settings. If you only had one disk then the job is complete. If you had 2, then the second will install all the other software that is not part of the basic system.
I could not understand your question. Do you want to install the printer software or do you want to connect the printer and start using it ? Also, please let me know the version of MAC o/s you are using.
Basic Help is : 1. Turn the printer on 2. Connect the Printer USB to MAC 3. It should install the drivers
If this does not work, Run the software disk of the printer and follow the instructions on screen. Connect the printer as required at the time of installation or later after the installation is complete.

You can not the ink has to be install for the installation to complete. The installs always set up the printer first because the scanner and anything else it does if it is a 3 in 1 or all in one goes thru the printer. Even though you do not need to use the printer it has to be set up for the other options to work. Sorry.
1. click a text file to print 2.on the drop down menu for printer select printer (there may several listed) 3.if printer not shown then click "add printer" 4.locate your printer model and install 5. This may require you to go to the manufacturer site to download the updated drivers. 6. check the Printer installation manual for step by step instructions Located on the CD that came with the printer.
