I turn on my Hitachi 43uwx10b and red light comes on the turns back off and you can hear it click on then off in the back.

Still didn't fix my problem though. So what else could it be. I read about the voltage regulator by the red light going bad. So ordered it and going to replace it this week. If its not that then what else could it be

What part on the power board needs to be replaced. A relay or what.

For a estimate, you could pay up to $110, capacitors , if you are lucky may cost $20. A rebult power board may cost $200

Got lucky. Found a power board on eBay for 45 dollars pulled from a 50 inch working unit. Same board. Same numbers.

The new board still didn't work. What else could it be? Heard about voltage regulator by red led in back. Ordered it going to change it out this week and if that doesn't work what else could it be?

I have a Hitachi 43UWX10B that won't turn on. When I try, the red power light flashes, and I hear intermittent chirping. Any way to verify the problem and estimate repair costs?

Your convergence chips have failed.

Sometimes when they fail the TV will look 3D or distorted and sometimes it will just loose video and audio and chirp.

This is a common problem. Your convergence has gone out.

Common symptoms are...

1) 3D Video
2) Warped Video
3) Convergence menu does not adjust the red or blue correctly. 4) TV Chirps

Hitachi 43UWX10B 43" Power Light flashes Continuously

I doubt if its the fuse. We just helped a customer with a very similiar problem. Its more likely that the convergence IC have failed and shorted out. When this happens one of the symproms is that the TV will shut down and chirp. Goto www.TvRepairKits.com and click the contact us button. They can provide you with more instructions on how to test if this is the problem.

Power light turns on turns off continuously

If you don't hear the relay click suspect Q003. No power suspect Q912, Q914 & I901. Good Luck, big IRISH.

It's not coming on probably because the safety sees a short and is sparing you smoke damage. Double check to make sure any solder didn't cross or drop to another set of solder joints on the bottom. Red Power light won't go off

try to unplug it for awhile like all day or do like i have and get one of those really cheep christmas light remotes and put it in line to turn off power and then every time that you turn off your set if the light dose not go out just turn off the power or have a repair man replace your power switch for alot of $$$$$.this work well for my system.

Flashing Power Light

Located in the power supply section of the unit. There is a pico fuse (soldered in fuse) that opens up and there is no high voltage. The second click that you hear when the set is turned on. This can be diagnosed With set unplugged, with an ohm meter with a simple continuity test. I think the pico fuse is 4 amps , I am not absolutely sure. I have seen this problem in that unit previously. There is also a convergence problem that occurs with that set. Scrivitron.
