I need instuction manual for FAL-3 output subconverter

The FAI-3A is just the "Walmart exclusive" version of the SLC-4. The two products are identical except for the model number.

I have a factory radio in my Bonneville and i'm trying to hook up a scosche FAI-3A output converter to a amp to power my 6 by 9's. I do have the directions but still not for sure cause it shows hooking up...

There is no sound whatsoever from the sub, i spliced into my back 2 speakers on my 2000 eclipse gt to the converter box of a scosche fai-3a, ran the rca's into my amp(which has power, ground, and remote...

Hello worsttintent,

The FAI3A is a 4-channel converter. Perhaps you connected the input from your rear speakers to 2 channels but ran the RCA's from the other 2 channels. It's also possible that the levels need to be adjusted.

Check the wiring and adjustments. Put the RCA's in the unused channels and see if there's output from there. If this doesn't work, most likely, the LOC is defective.

Search the internet on stereo websites. Getting a haynes or chilton manual for car ad it should give youthe wiring diagram for the cd player.

the 2 left and right dont matter, it only matters when ur hooking up a 4 channel amp.
all u do is connect one of the channels to it but it would be best o buy a stereo ull have alot of engine nose and vibration on ur speakers and a thump every time u turn on ur car but itll sound ok for now ti

Fai-3a installed, subs work speakers dont

did you cut them and splice into them. Because instead splice them all together and it should all work. or if you have a multichannel amp just hook ur factories into the amp as well.
