Phone shows insertbsim card

there is card slot in k320i

- Temporary database inconsistence in the service provider network. switch off and on your phone and try again after a few hours

- Electrical problem with the SIM card that might need replacement.

- SIM card has been taken out of service (prepaid phone not used for a long period of time, SIM card has been blocked etc)

try to remove the battery, sim, and memory card then clean the sim with eraser, clean also the sim connector with a blower then try to insert your sim and turn it on

This kind of troubles shown in k530i is rare,why i'm saying this i'm also using this very set, i got changed about more than 6 times my sim card and doesn't shown any troubles! That's why its so rare....its better to take to your sony-erricson service station...than trying it by yourself!

The puk code is a code associated to SIM card , not to the phone.

You have to choices, call the phone company or replace the SIM card inside.

The PUK code is asked if you enter a wrong pin 3 times.

You need to call the phone company that released the SIM card, they can retrieve the PUK code from a database for free.

In your case you need to contact your SIM card provider technical support to unlock the SIM.


The PIN and PUK are related to the SIM card, not to the phone.

If you replace the SIM card with a different one, then the phone will not ask for the PUK anymore.

this erroe happens because the phone may be locked 
r else the gsm may not be supporting 
indian gsm and us gsm varies a lot check the gsm

hello......you cant save the sms messages to your memory card in sony erricson w200i....messages can be saved only in phone memory.

see this phone only supports GSM 800,900,i suppose pls make sure the sim is GSM or CDMA..........

i can't searchin my sim-card sometimes in my sony ericsson cell k320i due to deletin some via usb connection through computer.
