How do i drop the oil pan in my 1997 buick century

it's a tough job if you want to remove the oil pan with the engine in the car.First you need to drain the engine oil and remove the oil filter. You need to remove the exhaust system then lift the engine to all heights to be able to remove the pan. Next remov e the oil pan bolts and loosen the oil pan. Here is the real problem to remove the oil pan in that space.
A lot easier to remove the engine to do the job.

I need to take the oil pan down from a 1995 ford escort i have it loose all the bolts have been romoved the only thing in the way is the exhaust pipe is there any way around takin off the whole exhaust?

You can try disconnecting the exhaust at the exhaust manifold to get a bit more room, but failing this I'm afraid you might have to drop some or all of your exhaust system.Good luck
