This sounds like a faulty keyboard. Check with laptopaid.com for a replacement keyboard for your laptop model. Replacement is not hard.

<li>Go to Start > Run > "cmd" and hit OK. This will load the command prompt.
<li>type "ftp" and hit enter.
<li>type "open releases.mozilla.org" and hit enter.
<li>It will ask for a username, type "anonymous" and hit enter.
<li>It will then ask for a password, type "anonymous" and hit enter.
<li>Open the folder with the latest Windows release of Firefox by typing in:<br />"cd pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/latest/win32/en-US" and then enter.
<li>View the contents of the current directory by typing in "ls" and then enter.
<li>Switch to binary file mode by typing in "type image" and then hit enter.
<li>Choose the directory to download firefox to by typing "lcd C:\" (Typing this will save it right to the root directory of the C: Drive.
<li>When you typed in "ls" from step 7, it should have listed a .exe file for you. As of writing the latest version is Firefox Setup 3.0.11.exe. In this case, we will type in: <b>get "Firefox Setup 3.0.11.exe"</b> (type in the quotes)
<li>Now go check in your c:/ drive, and you should see the .exe file downloaded.
<li>Type "bye" to exit the FTP mode, and then type "exit" to close out of the Command Prompt. </li></ol>

If windows XP, try control-alt-delete and type "Administrator" (without quotes) into the username, leave password blank and hit enter.

turn on the computer and keep on pressing the F8 key> select safe mode> login to desktop> go to run and type "temp" (without quotes) then hit enter and delete all the files> go to run and type "%temp%" (without quotes) then hit enter and delete all the files> > go to run and type "msconfig" (without quotes) then hit enter then goto the startup tab and uncheck all the unnecessary items hit ok and do not restart the computer> go to run and type "inetcpl.cpl" (without quotes) then hit enter then goto the advanced tab and click on reset to reset the internet explorer.
Then restart the computer it should work fine now.
Hi Open Network Connections on your computer.Right click on your network connection and then Properties.Select the Networking tab and then TCP/IPv4,or TCP/IPv6(do this for both if you have them both checked on the Networking tab)Select "Obtain IP address automatically" and the same for DNS server address.Then select the advanced tab and see if DHCP Enabled is listed in the IP address box.It should be there. On the off chance that TCP/IPv4 isn't installed,go to Start-Run-type in cmd-then hit enter(there's no Run box in Win7,just type cmd into the open box in Start and hit enter). At the Command Prompt type this in EXACTLY netsh interface ipv4 install then hit enter. Then,go back and go through the configuration steps above. Go to control panel and scroll down to regional and language settings. Go through each tab, including the keyboard tab and make sure all of them say either United States or English - (United States)
When you power on start hitting the F8 button with one seconds pause until you get the "fail-safe" boot menu...
- Choose the fail-safe mode and wait until windows has loaded.
Ckick > Start > Run and type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and hit enter or press OK.
Choose the "autostart" tab and uncheck all options.
Reboot...
