Radio & horn 04 Road Glide

I put new handlebars on my 04 Road Glide and a friend did the dis & reconnect of the wiring. everything looks ok, but now my radio & horn don't work. Are the horn and radio on the same circuit, is there a fuse and where would I find it.

Thanks

Generally these aren't on the same circuit. There is an inline fuse for the radio, it's located in the power wire for the radio. The horn shouldn't have a fuse, so I'm going to say check the button on the controls.

I have a 2007 Harley street glide battery died. I replaced it then the radio would not work. checked the fuses and found all ok. I road it for one day and let it sit for 2 days and the new battery is dead....

May sound like a dumb question bur are you sure you reconnected the wires correctly? If so there could be a short. If the fuses are good I would say between the fuse and the battery. I am not as familiar with the baggers but I know battery quick battery drains on any of my bikes were always a short to ground

1. my radio just stopped working, it used to go on and off depending on the dots in the road or a big bump but now there is nothing, the fuses are ok too. 2. the horn does not work at all, fuses are ok...

it sounds like the plug in the back of the radio has come loose. remove radio and check connection. as far as the horn PULL THE WIRE FROM THE HORN UNDER THE HOOD THEN RUN A TEST LEAD FROM THE + SIDE OF YOUR BATTERY TO THE HORN IF IT HONKS REPLACE THE HORN RELAY IF NOT REPLACE THE HORN. GOOD LUCK

Check the wiring within the headlight shell--look for connectors that may be corroded or pulled loose. A little WD-40 will favor connection integrity when sprayed into the connectors, then coupling and uncoupling them several times. Hope this helps!

Replace battery on my dyna super glide but it won't even act like it is going to start. Everything lights up horn honks but nothing when I hit the starter. Doe it have something to do with the security...

Bypass the starter switch with heavy wire. Go from positive battery terminal to starter post to see if starter is OK, if it is check wiring. Make sure key in ON position to test, bike in Neutral. You'll know right away if starter is OK. More than likely it is the starter switch button on the handlebar. I don't know anything about the security systems, but lets' hope it is not that.

Pull the faring, check for loose wires on the speaker. This is a common problem.
