Code to nulock the audio system purchased from a wreckage shop(1996 audio system).

Have it checked for DTC'S diagnostic trouble codes . Auto zone , advance , O riles etc... will check for free . Then if your not familiar with electroniclly controlled automotive systems , take it to a qualified repair shop .

Take it to a shop that has an OBD1 scanner. The parts stores only have scanners that check 1996 and newer OBD2 systems. You can access flash codes but you will need to purchase a manual or find the procedure online. It involves jumping a couple of connectors at a diagnostic box on the right engine fender well.

look in your glove box on the left side. there should be a five digit number above a ten digit number on a sticker. if it isn't there, i found mine actually stuck on the page in my owners' manual in the audio system section under "theft protection". if you can't find this tag, you'll have to get in touch with a honda/acura dealership. they will need the serial number of the radio, vin, & if you tell them you're calling from blah-blah shop (give them the address & phone # if they ask), you won't have to provide proof of ownership.
having worked in the shop for years, i've run into this far too many times to count, and each time has been a success. now that i no longer work for a shop, i still use this method when the code isn't readily available.
use the preset buttons to enter the code (five digits) & the radio should simply start playing. if you make a mistake while entering the code, continue the sequence without stopping. you have three tries, after which if you're unsuccessful, you must leave the radio turned on for one hour before trying again. hope this helps

Those are both O2 sensor heater codes. Since the codes come back, that would indicate the shop misdiagnosed the problem by assuming you had bad sensors when the problem is somewhere in the O2 heater circuit. Take it back to the shop and have them rediagnose the circuit. The tank fill problem is most likely caused by a problem in the EVAP system. Take your vehicle to the local cars parts place - like Advance Auto - and have them run "code" on your unit. It may take a shop to do this - [other than Advance - Auto] because of the age of your car.
Please know - that with the new computer cars like your and all after 1981 until 1996 you must have them read by a shop or purchase a very expansive tool to 'read' the code that causes your 'Check Engine" light to come on.

Check for a hand written code in the owners manual , sometimes previous owners are smart enough to write it down.. if not stop in to a dealer and they will unlock it for free... be sure to write it down after.

If your car is a 1996 it should hook up. If it is a late 1995 then it won't and there is no adapter. It runs on a completely different diagnostic system. If it is 1996 VW's plug looks a little different than the plug on your scanner but it will plug on to it.

You can purchase one at either Auto Zone, O'Reilly or Pepboys, almost all autoparts houses have them or can get them for you. They usually run about 18.00

The trunk mounted 12 disc magazine changer with the Bose audio system is made by Pioneer. Mine is a bit flaky too so I try to avoid unnecessarily swapping out the CD's. Those error codes can mean anything from a defective/wrong disc type (it does not support MP3 discs), a disc being upside down, or forgetting to close the magazine loading door. It can also indicate condensation on the laser lens or a system malfunction. There may be a list of error codes in the owner's manual if you have one, I currently don't.

Assuming you have checked all of the possible human errors above, there are aftermarket sellers that claim you can adapt an aftermarket changer to the Bose system albeit with with inferior sound quality to the original system. Bose is typically well-known for it's audio quality. That being said, the other option would be to seek a repair facility that can repair these changers. There are some places on-line that repair car audio that also might be able to help.

A cheaper workaround might be to hook up a portable CD/MP3 player using a cassette adapter. Assuming the cassette player, amp and speakers are good, you would possibly still get fairly high quality sound from the Bose system.
