Hi there,

You can connect your camera to the computer using the usb cable. Once the camera has been detected, RIGHT click on your windows Start button and choose Expore to open windows explorer. Then on the window, click on the My Computer or Computer on the left to show the driver letters associated with it. Look for the drive letter for the camera and click on it to show contents on the right. All you have to do is locate for the folder which contains the pictures and copy them on your local drive.

How to import photos from iPhone to computer
No matter you own a relatively old iPhone 5 or a span-new iPhone 6, you may have hundreds of photos stored on your iPhone with its limited storage. If your iPhone is 8 GB or 16 GB, there is the great possibility that one day your iPhone storage is running out space for the photos.
To free up space on your iPhone, here you can get two ways to import photos from iPhone to computer.

Part 1. How to import photos from iPhone to computer with Windows AutoPlay

1. Connect your iPhone to the computer. If the AutoPlay window appears, click "Import Pictures and Videos using Windows".

2. Click the Import Settings link > In the resulting window, you can change the folder to which your Camera Roll's photos will be imported by clicking the Browse button next to the "Import to" field.

3. After setting your import options, click OK > Choose a tag if desired and click Import.

Part 2. How to Import Photos from iPhone to Computer with AnyTrans

1. Download and install AnyTrans on your computer, then connect your iPhone to the PC.

2. Open up AnyTrans, on the homepage, click Photos button.

3. Choose the photos from Camera Roll/Photo Stream/Photo Share/Photo Library/Album/Panorama/Bursts(Which is various depends on your iPhone mode).

Do you have Windows Live Photo Gallery? It comes with Windows 7, but if not you can download it here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-live/photo-gallery-get-started
  1. Open Windows Live Photo Gallery
  2. Connect your camera
  3. Click the Import icon in the top left corner.
  4. Select your Olympus and click import. It should import both photos and videos.

You can also try and select the videos you want using the file download module Windows displays when a new device is plugged in. If that doesn't work, try
  1. Start > Computer > Olympus Tough TG-310
  2. Then open the folders until you find the videos you want. Select them and copy them to your desktop (or any other preferred location).
I have had video issues with my Olympus TOUGH (could not delete them from the camera) which turned out to be a formatting problem with the memory card.

Unable to import photos to laptop
Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.


The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.


Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Windows Photo Gallery or Picasa.
