I have bought a lexmark fax,printer,copier X4270 two months ago and it is not working.I do not want you to call or offer me a dicount on it being repaired this is the second lexmark one that I have bought over the year and it will be the last about five years ago I bought one and went threw the same issues and went out and bought a different brand and it still working I gave it to my brother last year when I came out of my 6 week coma and I didn't think I would be capable of using it

IF your printer is 2 months old then if not working you can contact Lexmark and get your printer replaced as its under warranty for free by the company ...

Make sure your phone line for the fax is correctly plugged into the Line Port of the printer and not the EXT port. For a more comprehensive guide on how to setup the Lexmark X4270 for faxing, please refer to the Lexmark X4200 Series User's Guide.

Unplug printer USB from computer. Chose OS version and download the driver. After downloading run installer file, this will start printer setup wizard. Connect printer back when required from setup wizard.
