I have a Sharp xv-z9000u projector. I recently replaced the lamp; however, I cannot turn the projector on. how do I reset the lamp timer?

there may be a reset button some were on the projector you have to look real good, i do know that some projectors when you replace the light bulb you have to push the reset button than it should turn on.

XV-Z9000u / The picture is clear great but I have no red colors?

first, reset the settings to factory default (through the menu). if you still have no red, swap out the cables. also, check to see if there is any broken glass inside the projector. if you have, the colorwheel is broken and needs replacing.

Won't power up

I had the same problem after I replaced my lamp. You need to hold down the:

On
Enter
Down Arrow
Right Arrow

simultaneously - this resets the lamp counter. After I did that my projector fired right back up.
