SMALL MOTH There is a small moth that looks to be behind the screen.Any ideas on how to get rid of this insect???

    Sony KDP-57XBR2 Need to clean mirror picture dull from dust.Removed screws at bottom front of screen no other screws noticeable. There is a trim ring referenced in this article wandering how much force is required to remove the front screen to get inside to clean reflector glass. Is there a place I should start in order to remove this trim ring?

Unplug the set! Snap the trim ring off the front of the set and you may find a few screws or the front screen may just pop off. Then you can clean the screen and mirror. Be sure not to bump the color guns this will change the alignment of them. Be careful not to spill anything in the set. This is a relative easy fix.

First You can try a hard reset: Unplug TV from AC mains and remove all cables from TV. Wait about 30 minutes and replug to AC power and redo the cabling. Switch on the TV and see if it works..

Getting rid of gnats and fruit flies
If you have birds and feed them fruit clean up the old thrown away fruit immediately.
Do not let any fruit lay out...bananas, peaches, strawberrys, etc....ALL will draw the little monsters.
Don't have any open containers of orange juice, cokes, anything sweet or even water.
There are little cardboard fruit moth traps you can buy at the hardware that work quite well.
Camicide was WONDERFUL! BUT you can't find it anymore, anywhere!
Check google for organic solutions.
If you have birds, DO NOT USE ANYTHING AROUND THEM! IT WILL KILL THEM!
Will take a little time and work but you can get rid of the nasty little pests....good luck.

I have discovered small white larvae (probably moth larvae) creeping out of the Panasonic bread machine (SD-253) when it is on (no activity when it is off) and I don't know whether the eggs were laid in...
I would recommend running a sacrifice loaf through and letting the cook cycle finish. It would be very surprising if any moth larvae could survive the ambient heat. Then give the bread to some ducks or inlaws:) Those areas of the machine are not really intended to be opened, so that is my best advice.

Geckos cuase my airconditioning unit to seize up.
Place moth balls inside the unit: it acts as a gecko repellent. Just take care you do not place them in the airway as it may carry its smell. Also, when you visit a grocery store look in the pest control section you can find some sort of stickers which repel them.
