I got a Cadence A7 it does not want to work. Goes directly to diagnostic.

    I was just thinking of paying to get it fixed because i don't want to try fixing it. I am scared i might just mess it up more.

    My amp fried my ground wire on my wild beast sub. I resodered it back and hooked it back up and now it keep going to diagnostic. Even with it not hooked up. What should i do. should I send in please reply soon. thank you.

The computer goes into Transport Mode when it detects the bike is moving without the wheel moving (as on a car carrier) so that means the wheel sensor is not working. If you take a magnet and pass it right by the sensor several times and get no cadence count then the wire is broken or the cadence portion of the computer is non-functional. Unless it's the wire and you can fix it you need to buy a new computer.

How do i trouble shoot a delphi 4.0 bike meter. every feature is working except the cadence? is there a battery in the little unit that goes down by the rear wheel
First, make sure that the sender is connected. There should be a device on the frame over which the magnet attached to the pedal passes. Unless you have the sender that is attached to the pedals you will obviously not get a cadence. secondly, on my Vetta device one has to select cadence. Check the manual to find out how to do that. I'm sure there is one online.

Sigma BC 1609 Cadence Bicycle Speedometer reads my movement much slower than I am actually going. E.g. moving about 15, reads as 5 mph.
I had the same problem. It is caused because the mount is facing the wrong direction and your computer is swapping speed and cadence. 5 mph would mean 63 RPM of the wheel which probably what your pedal is actually doing. The wheel is actually turning at about 3 times that rate so if you check your cadence it is probably maxing out at 180 even though that wouldn't be possible.

To fix this, just twist your mount 180 degrees on your handlebars or stem and try again. That way the computer is correctly lined up with the mount.

I recently bought a 4 GB PNY Optima SD HC card for my Samsung Digimas A7 Camera. When I go to format the card, after a few seconds I get a format error! message......why? I suspect the camera was not...
You're correct. The A7 works with MMC and SD cards, not SDHC cards. The camera is limited to cards 2GB and smaller.

What LED are you talking about that keeps flashing?

If it's the LED on the controller board in the furnace, they blink with a cadence that you need to watch. There will be a data sheet somewhere on the furnace that will tell you what the cadence (flash cadence) is.

Diagnosis light
It could be an overheating or power issue. It may be that the two speakers are loading it too much, which will cause it to overheat. Does the light eventually go off and the sound return ? Do you have the speakers wired in series or parallel ? What's the impedance of the speakers and the minimum continuous load for the amp ?
