Your screen is defective. Screens are very expensive to replace but you might be able to find a used one on line. You will need the part number of teh screen it is located on the back of the LCD panel on a white sticker. Do a google search and see if anyone is selling it. You can try www.interliquidparts.com

Soyo monitor MT-NI-DYLM1998 "out of range."

Your windows 7 screen resolution is set too high and your display doesn't support it. There are 3 possible solutions to this problem:
1. Press F8 during startup and choose "Enable row-resolution video"
2. Press F8 during startup and choose "Safe mode" and change screen resolution there, then reboot.
3. You can always use another display (if you have one) to set screen resolution to lower value.

I have a Vizio VF550XVT1A. First problem was a flickering screen that ended with the TV turning off. I replaced both invertor boards and the TV seemed to work fine for a few weeks. Now the TV works fine...

Good day sir Alfred!!!!

If your screen turns to back after a minutes but the sounds is normal..That problem is very common to all flat panel specially to LCD TV..

OK,I need to know first if your TV having a back-light when the picture went out after a minutes. If that so the possible problem is T-CON board (this board is the responsible to produce a video on all LCD TV)..

If you don't have back-light the problem is inverter board again..But before you order or install new inverter board try to find why the inverter board gone only on few weeks after you install it..the possible problem why the inverter board faulty for the short period of time is higher/lower input voltages (24vdc) comes from power supply..try to check it using volt meter or multimeter tester..it should be read 24vdc on meter..let me know if the voltage drop or higher to 24..

If the 24vdc is fine the only problem is the condition of inverter board maybe its used or partially faulty when you buy it..

if you have more queries and clarification regarding my solution please feel free to reply on this tread...

Hope it helps..

Thanks for using fixya..

My screens works for about 10 or 15 minutes and then goes out...

You could have a faulty inverter or a CCFL lamp, To determine if you have a LCD screen, inverter or video card problem, read this and follow these instructions.
Defective CCFL backlight, it may have the following symptom: Screen flashs on red/pink and off. Picture stays on in red and slowly be come normal. Picture flickering with dim display or appear black. Picture flickering on and off. All these symptoms indicate that the LCD backlight lamp (CCFL Lamp) has reached the end of the life and all you need to do is replacing the CCFL lamp.
Connect an external monitor to your laptop and power the monitor up first then the laptop, if you see the normal Windows images then the video card and laptop is OK and the problem is definitely the backlight. Dim image and/or dark display on the laptop's LCD screen indicates a faulty LCD backlight and it could be the inverter that supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp or it is the CCLF lamp is nearly burnt out or burnt out, most likely this is the case.
The inverter can be replaced easily but the CCLF lamp is more time consuming and requires soldering skills.
