Question about HP Computers & Internet
It sounds like the disc is bad and needs to be returned. However, this puts you in the terrible position of being in the middle of recovering/restoring your PC, which means it is not usable. I had one recently that hung in the middle of just this type of recovery, and I had to hold the power button until the machine shut down. Then start it back up and start over. Unfortunately, it will likely start the same issues at disc #5. If it does, I would suggest contacting HP to see if they will either send you the content by email, or if you can download it (if you have another connected machine), or - last resort - send you another one which could take days to get to you. It can be due to software as well as hardware issue. There will be an error code mentioned there in that blue screen. Best way to resolve it will be to take a backup of all the data and do a complete System Recovery using the Recovery Partion or Recovery Disk. Still if the problem remains then it is definetly a hardware issue where any one of the hardware part will have to be replaced.
