Tv TUner I am cureently in the UK, and i am trying to tune the TV. But it wont connect, how can i get it to work???

Are you trying to get over the air channels? IF you are does your TV have the digital tuner on analog? TV went digital and if you have an analog tuner will need either e new TV or converter box.

Check and replace its main system control memory IC. If this IC is faulty, auto tuning will not work, or, the TV will store any received channels. If the TV do not tune into channels too, the AGC voltage to its tuner, and tuner itself should be checked.

If you are using the TV in UK, and you are using the internal digital tuner (aerial cable to TV), then the TV may be defective (faulty tuner or audio circuit). In that case call Grundig at the number listed on manual.
If TV is using an external digi box (eg. freeview), then check connection from box to TV, test using a different connection cable. Test using a DVD, if TV works on DVD replace the digi box.

If you are trying to use the TV outside UK, and you are using the internal digital tuner, then there may be a problem with signal. In that case purchase a tuner box and connect it to the TV.

Is the Tv a multi standard Tv?  And as you know most countries around the world are converting to digital Tv. A converter box will likley solve the problem.  Try this web site , ramelectronics.net  also type in , standards converters , in a search box.

This guy is raking in the change on you. The tuner is for over the air signals, now you have a 3 prong connector RED,WHT,BLACK make there connected you can find the AUX,VID-IN by scrolling throught the channels on your TV hope this helps.

Has your freeview tv got a built in RF i.e (not a digital freeview) tuner? If it hasnt then you wont be able to tune it into your LCD TV by connecting it through your aerial socket. However I think you can get a cable so that you can plug the nintendo directly into a scart or rgb input. Something like this.

Then you can just switch to your scart or rgb source on your telly and play on your snes.

The tuner is probably faulty. Got the same tv, no probs.

I don't know about the frequencies being different or not, but to get to youse your TV you can use the tuner in an old VCR if you have one sitting around.
