My samsung SGH-A887 will not turn on. When the phone begins to power up the phone freezes at the AT&T screen before the progress bar completes. Why is this happening and what can i do to fix the problem or at least get my information off my phone? The rep's for AT&T were unable to help, and asked that I talk to the people at radio shack. Radio shack could not help eaither.

1 - Switch ON your Samsung SGH-A887 Solstice with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Samsung SGH-A887 Solstice will ask for "Password".
3 - Enter the Unlock Code.

1 - Switch ON your Samsung SGH-A887 Solstice with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM Card.
2 - Don't bother about what's being displayed on your Samsung SGH-A887 Solstice .
3 - Compose : #0111*CODE#.

NOT ACCEPTED: We mean, to use a sim card from a network other than the network your Samsung SGH-A887 Solstice is locked to.
CODE: Its the unique Unlock Code for your Samsung SGH-A887 Solstice .

If method 2 does not work, you can try method 2 again but this time without any SIM card on your Samsung SGH-A887 Solstice .
